Roasted garlic head
This a must try! It is so easy and adds a creamy, mild garlic flavor to anything. Toast, meat, veggies, potatoes, mix with mayonnaise for an aioli. Seriously, so good! I pop these in the oven when I am cooking at a high temperature, or grill.
1 whole garlic head (head cut off)
olive oil
salt
aluminum foil
Pre heat oven or grill to 375. Place head of garlic over large piece of foil. Drizzle olive oil and salt over. Wrap in foil, place in oven and cook 15-20 minutes. Garlic cloves inside should be soft if pierced with a knife. Let cool slightly, once manageable in your hands, squeeze garlic cloves out of the head. Mash with for and sprinkle with salt. Serve right away or save in the fridge for up to a week. I make a few at a time, it goes quick!
